Castlebrae Community Campus
Castlebrae Community Campus is a large well-equipped modern school located in the Craigmillar area of East Edinburgh. The school provides co-educational, non-denominational comprehensive education for S1-S6 pupils. The pupils who attend the school come predominantly from the three associated Primaries of Castleview, Niddrie Milland Newcraighall.
It is 2 years since the school moved into the new school building “Castlebrae Community Campus” which has won an award for inspiring learning spaces.

The current pupil roll of the school is 554. The Senior Leadership Team comprises of the HeadTeacher and 2 Depute Heads. The wider leadership team consists of 14 Curriculum Leaders, 3 Pupil Support Leaders, a Support for Learning Leader, Wellbeing Hub Leader, Enhanced Support Base Leader, Attainment Education Officer and an IT Co-Ordinator.
Castlebrae Community Campus is firmly committed to raising attainment and promoting achievement. We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Senior Leadership Team.
Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
