Back End Tech Lead

Summary:

As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects, leading a talented squad of developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take their technical and leadership skills to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a squad of 4-6 developers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. You will be responsible for setting clear goals and ensuring the technical excellence of your team.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with developers to provide support, mentorship, and encourage continuous improvement.
• Provide technical expertise in the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions.
• Work with squad managers to ensure consistent, high-quality, regular software deliveries to our stakeholders and clients.
• Actively participate in the hiring process for your squad and across the development team.
• Balance hands-on development work with leadership responsibilities.

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of either C#/.NET or Javascript/React to a very high standard.
• Familiarity with full-stack development and the challenges involved.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, notably Azure.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.

Desirable:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, notably Azure DevOps.
• Experience with IaC templates, especially Bicep.
• Experience with Typescript.
• Experience in a software agency or a similar fast-paced environment.
