We are looking for an Enterprise Reporting Developer to join our established and trusted reporting team in Customer Insight and Foresight, within Analytics team at Tesco Bank part of Barclays Bank UK Plc.
As a Developer you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining sustainable reporting solutions which meet business requirements and place the customer at the centre of everything we do. Reporting to the Development Lead, you will work closely with the other Developers within the team as well as multiple areas of the Bank to provide regulatory, contractual, audit and operational reporting as well as providing data support for incidents and events across the Bank.
What you’ll be doing
- Use SAS/SQL to develop reporting solutions which meet business requirements and comply with our governance framework.
- Collaborate with the business towards gathering requirements for all reporting needs.
- Bring requests through their entire life-cycle, from impact assessment and development through to the route to live and sign-off process.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify data sources and integrate into reporting where required.
- Manage and resolve risks and issues across our services and processes.
- Work effectively as part of an Agile team, contributing to an approach focused on improving outcomes.
We need you to have
- Experience of SAS or Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Power BI).
- Experience of performing data analysis and developing impactful and value-add reporting solutions from business requirements.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and tackle challenges and opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complicated technical problems for a variety of audiences.

- Experience in data transformation and advanced query development using SQL.
- Experience of change management, development life cycle, stakeholder and project management in an Agile environment.
- Ability to prioritise and execute tasks effectively.

Salary: Salary is from £43,680 to £55,000 + annual bonus & benefits
Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow, Permanent
Office Attendance: Our roles are hybrid, however you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh or Glasgow office, 2 days per week for this position.
