About the role
The role involves working within the Capital Projects team at Edinburgh Airport that delivers Capital projects across the campus. As a Project Development Manager, your role will be to develop and progress Capital Projects from the initial problem/opportunity phase to the Design Phase.
As a Development manager you will support the wider business, in particular the project sponsors (internal clients), in the initial development phase of airport infrastructure projects. Central to the role is the management of project teams and preparation of a detailed business case document used to seek sign off and funding approval for progression of each project to the next stage.
Your role will be to investigate and fully understand the problem or opportunity and manage the development of the solution(s) whilst working with operational, analytical and delivery. These solutions can range from process improvements and efficiencies through to infrastructure and new terminal expansion builds.
This role requires a dynamic individual who can work flexibly with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stakeholders along with time, cost and quality to deliver project objectives.
