Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage social media accounts for premium brands, crafting content that captivates and delivers results.
- Create and edit high-quality videography and photography, using tools like CapCut, Canva, or other editing software, and maximising the potential of smartphone photography.
- Use and maintain content calendars, ensuring every post aligns with brand objectives and deadlines.
- Monitor performance metrics, including engagement, follower growth, and reach, and take proactive steps to optimise results.
- Bring your humour and creativity to content creation, ensuring our brands stand out with relatable and engaging posts.
- Build strong relationships with clients and customers by being personable, approachable, and professional on-site.
- Implement strategies designed to achieve specific social media targets and plans, demonstrating an understanding of how these align with wider business goals.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who can hit the ground running, with the following qualities and skills:
- Creativity & Innovation:
- You think outside the box and can produce scroll-stopping content, mainly in the focus of reels and carousel posts
- Your humour and energy shine through in your work.
- Strong Organisational Skills:
- You can manage multiple accounts, campaigns, and deadlines seamlessly.
- Analytical Ability:
- You understand how to monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proven Social Media Success:
- You can provide examples or case studies where you’ve increased follower counts and driven high engagement, and/or increased sales
- Platform Expertise:
- You’re proficient with 2-3 or more social media platforms, such as Meta (Facebook), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn, and can demonstrate knowledge of best practices for each.
- Understanding of Marketing Principles:
- You have a solid grasp of key marketing concepts and know how to apply them to social media strategies.
- Transparency & Accountability:
- You communicate openly and take ownership of your work, building trust with clients and the team.
- Energetic & Personable:
- You thrive in client-facing roles, bringing enthusiasm and professionalism to every interaction whilst being confident enough to control and manage settings for content creation with 1 or more people.

Desirable Skills (Advantageous):
- Strong connections within the industry, including influencers and networks across various sectors, will be highly advantageous.
Key Points:
- The job is hybrid, but is dependent on clients and client needs - as such there may be work on various sites, such as hospitality settings (day/night) along with some office based hours (that can be done at home) but you may be required to attend office hours to work through projects
- This is initially a freelance role meaning you would be required to invoice after completion of your hours on a monthly basis
- Although this is a part time role initially, there will be a paid trial period before commencement of confirmation in role to ensure that both parties are happy to move forward
- We will look to move you on to full time hours at some point in early 2025 as long as the business continues to move forward on trajectory (something you will help push during your time)
- Our clients are based in Edinburgh and so you must be living or be able to commute directly to the city centre regularly - due to volume of candidates we will only reply to anyone who fits this criteria
