About the practice

As the resident Optometrist, your day will involve a mixture of routine eye examinations, enhanced clinical care, and patient-focused recommendations.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive sight tests
• Advising patients on eye health and visual solutions
• Managing contact lens appointments and aftercare
• Making appropriate referrals where required
• Working closely with Dispensing Opticians and Optical Assistants
• Supporting patients through their full optical journey
• Using modern clinical technology to support accurate diagnoses
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records
• Delivering a high standard of customer care and professionalism

You will be supported by a strong front-of-house and dispensing team, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical delivery.

Testing times and clinical set up

• Testing times typically around 25-30 minutes
• Pre-screening completed by experienced support staff
